Job description:

Those selected will benefit the outmost from the experience of the Platform as a concept and as an opportunity to engage, learn and master skills. Below an indicative list of responsibilities can give a clear idea about the expectations:

The coordinator for each group will have support responsibilities before, during and after the Focus Group Discussion. Key tasks include:

1. Meet and coordinate with focus group moderator in order to review and agree on the how to conduct their roles

2. Meet on a regular basis with Platform Administrative Committee to provide updates on the preparations, proceedings and outcomes, address challenges or concerns, and work collaboratively to resolve such in the most effective way.

3. Coordinate with QCDC Operations to

· Schedule the meeting rooms and other requirements needed for each focus group, including refreshments if they are provided

· Ensure the room set up and other logistics are planned and effectively carried out

· Provide any pre-session help the Facilitator and Recorder might need

· Provide any logistical follow-up for each session

4. Carry out all aspects of inviting people/organizations to participate in the process and confirming their participation, including:

· Getting availability from the Facilitators and Recorders

· Issuing invitation letters or sending e-mails to participants

· Receiving/initiating follow-up calls to confirm participation

· Sending confirmation letters to participants with questions to think about in advance of the focus group

· Providing the Moderator and Reporter with information about who will be attending each session

· Providing QCDC Operations & Communication teams with information on each session and the required logistics for it

5. Attend and manage Focus Groups meetings, distribute/collect surveys

6. Review and distribute to participants agenda and other support documents needed for effective Focus Group meetings.

7. Record and archive the session - keeping detailed notes, and send meeting results to all involved.

8. Document all literature, reports and documentation indicated by participants, distribute them as and when required and hand them to QCDC representative.

9. Collaborate with the leader and moderator to develop the Focus Group Final Report, based on the discussions during the session and hand copies of the report to the Focus Group Leader, Moderators and participants for feedback.

Qualifications required:

good communication and time management skills. Project management experience is plus. Fluent English is mandatory. Arabic fluency is a plus.
