Job description:

The College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) is pleased to announce the availability of 3 graduate Teaching Assistant positions. These positions require commitment of between 10-15 hr/week (QR 40/Hr).

Responsibilities: To facilitate successful instructional and learning activity within selected core and elective courses offered by the CHLS. Teaching Assistants will be required to attend the lectures of the assigned course, participate in course discussion/review sessions and in preparation and grading of examinations. The CHLS course director will define the specific responsibilities and expected time commitment of each TA position.

Qualifications required:

Requirements: Graduate student applicant will have successfully completed the CHLS course or a closely aligned course from another institution with a top grade. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important. Courses currently open for TA positions are: GPM 602, GPM 603, LS 603, CSE 602.

Application for CHLS TA position: Provide a cover letter to CHLS Administration indicating TA course of interest. Provide updated CV and an unofficial copy of academic transcript at HBKU. Appointments are for the period of an academic term. Students may receive TA positions for a maximum of 4 academic terms, unless otherwise approved by the Dean CHLS.
