Job description:

The Student Affairs Assistant in the VCUarts Qatar office of Student Affairs will work directly with the Student Affairs staff. Student Assistants in this office help with many events on
campus and work directly with students, staff and faculty across campus.


Job description:
Must be a VCUarts Qatar student.
Perform daily Student Affairs general office duties such as answering telephones, booking appointments, emailing, faxing, scanning documents, filing correspondence and running errands on campus.
Greet office guest, answer questions and direct to the proper individual(s) across campus.
Creates and maintains Excel spreadsheet and creates assessment graphs routinely.
Create presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Insuring the creation of a Student Affairs visual identity and implementation of it.
Assist in organizing events, programs and workshops.
Design posters and brochures for Student Affairs events.
Assist with Student Affairs social media channels.
Assist in project work when necessary.
Other administrative duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications required:

Qualifications required:
Excellent oral and written English communication skill.
Excellent computer skills.
Must have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher.
The ability to handle confidential matters and to be professional.
Ability to work well with others.
Willingness to multi task and work in a busy and confidential student office.
Ability to work between 15-20 hours per week. Weekend, evening, and holiday hours may be requested to assist with university events.
Excellent knowledge of design software programs.
Excellent organizational skills.
